We had an amazing time 10/18/23 with Carsar as our captain. He was very through and taught us some new methods of fishing. We caught 6 and our boatmates from Englamd the same. Highly recommend him as a captain. Also Chris in the office was super nice.
Justin with Mile High was a pure joy! We had a wonderful and plentiful fishing excursion. He was both educational and fun.!
Joby and the gang at Mile High were awesome! We were the only boat catching limits of Kokanee in Lake Tahoe when Dirks Bentley and his crew wake surfed right past us!!! Everyone knows Joby in South Lake and he knows this lake like a true Pro! So fun!!! Thank you!!!
What a fun time!! Justin knew it all. Patient and kind in instructing me, my brother, and dad. His enthusiasm for the fish, the lake, and his boat was contagious. We filled the rack with salmon and lake trout (yum)! He cut our bigger fish into filets for us too. Knowledgeable and professional. Worth it times a million!!!!
Had an absolutely amazing time with Justin, He took care of everything and made sure we had an awesome experience. Cleaned the fish right there too! Truly a great time for people of all fishing experience.
Joby was an amazing captain. We got out early and caught a bunch of Silver Salmon and a great mackinaw trout. Very hard working and gave us the best experience! Had the fish cooked at MacDuffs. An amazing day!
What a great experience! Captain Joby did not disappoint! We didn’t have to get up and be on the water before sunrise, like other captains told us we needed to do. We were on the water at 7am and basically had a few Mackinaw within minutes of the first pole in the water! The water was calm, weather was perfect and not a better view and NO ONE PLAYS BETTER MUSIC!! Captain Joby told us how to catch ‘em and we listened. We will DEFINITELY book with him the next time we visit Tahoe! Thank you so much Captain Joby!!
By far the best Charter company in Tahoe! Joby was incredible getting me on a boat last minute! He went above and beyond. The trip itself was unbelievable! Beautiful waters, a very nice boat, and a captain and deck hand that were second to none. I’ve been on MANY charters. The captain was knowledgeable, personable, and helpful with any questions I asked about the area. They even suggested a few great places to shore fish. We did all types of fishing in just a half day trip! Trolling, jigging, live baits, and plastics! Overall the best experience I’ve had on a fishing trip in my life! Thanks guys.

It was extremely worth every penny. I just want to thank Captain Justin Cain for an amazing trip, such a great friendly and knowledgeable fisherman, I'm not new to fishing by far and I still learned a few tricks, I highly suggest getting the private fishing trip, it was so fun and relaxing we are going again before they book all out, Just wanted to say thanks again to Mile High Charters and Justin, what a great operation, they seem to really care about making the best trip possible. 5 stars all the way!!! See you guys soon!!
What an amazing unforgettable trip! There was five of us on the morning half day trip which was from 6am to 10am. Several newbies and one who has never fished before, who caught the first fish! Captain Justin first went and set traps to catch some live bait and we went to one of his many fishing spots where we landed our first mackinaw. We caught our limit and released a small one. The boat was very clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room inside the heated cabin and outside while fishing. Complimentary water and soda was provided. Justin baited the hooks put us on top of the fish, netted the fish and cleaned the fish. All we had to do was reel them in. To top it off, he recommended taking our catch to Macduff’s who prepares the fish three different ways with sides. The best tasting, freshest fish ever! The whole experience was first class from beginning to end. Thank you for the amazing experience which we will never forget! I will definitely be back soon.
