Mile High Fishing Charters is owned and operated by native fisherman Captain Joby Cefalu. For more than twenty years, Captain Joby and his guides have provided the best fishing charter experience for their guests. All fishing guides at Mile High Fishing Charters are Master Guides in both California and Nevada and hold valid United States Coast Guard (USCG) Captain Licenses.

Anglers fishing with us use only the best fishing tackle available on the market. Our fishing equipment is new, well maintained and replaced regularly. Nothing ruins a trip like losing a nice fish due to faulty gear. The same high standard goes into our fishing boats. Our boats are new, spacious and offer you plenty of room to fish.

He took us to a few different locations and we were able to max out. He explained how the day was going to go and what we needed to do. This was the perfect addition to our Edgewood Resort / South Tahoe vacation. The Edgewood didn’t suggest Mile High Charters. They suggested another captain who was located just a bit closer in the touristy Ski Run Marina. But the Edgewood’s complimentary resort shuttle had no trouble taking us the short distance to Mile High Charter’s marina. I’m so glad I did my homework, read reviews, and made my own gut decision about choosing a charter operation. Joby made the day perfect for my family of four with two young kids!

Excellent day on the water with Captain Matt. He put us on some nice fish and provided the instruction we needed to reel them in. Also very knowledgeable about the fish, the Lake and perfect restaurant recommendation result in an great day for the family.

We had a fantastic time fishing on Lake Tahoe with Captain Justin on the Sunny B. We were on the fish the moment we got to the fishing grounds. The boat was spacious and offered a nice comfortable ride. Will book with Mile High Fishing Charters the next time we are in South Lake Tahoe.
